Each year we gather some of the world's top thinkers and doers for a one-day exploration into the new innovations to come. The Imagine Talks event started in 2014 and focuses on women empowerment, entrepreneurship, and social impact.


The success of Imagine Talks is based on bringing together some of the world's most amazing speakers, spanning many different fields of expertise converging into unique connections, ideas, and opportunities—limited only by imagination.

Amy is a Professor of Law at Yale Law School. The author of numerous books, her latest is the fictional thriller, The Golden Gate. In 2011, she also wrote The Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother, an international best-seller that has been translated into 30 languages.

Abigail Hing Wen

New York Times Best Selling Author 
Executive Movie and Film Producer

Abigail is the New York Times bestselling author of Loveboat, Taipei, which is being adapted for film. She holds a BA from Harvard, a JD from Columbia Law School, and an MFA from the Vermont School of Fine Arts. She also works on artificial intelligence in Silicon Valley, where she lives with her family.

Ashlyn is a freshman at Oberlin Conservatory and strives to bring together a broader and inclusive community. She hopes that her love for music and performing arts can inspire musicians of tomorrow to aim for musical excellence.

Alexis is an audiobook content creator and aspiring novelist and is focused on giving life to more Asian voices and storytelling. She is a student of the Gotham Writers Workshop and will be attending Master of Fine Arts programs in New York.

As a teacher, Angela’s  mission to provide students with the emotional, physical, and financial resources they need to thrive. She is building her new business called ‘Scholar Bites’  to provide nutritious school lunches for students and faculty in public schools.

Hilary focuses on bringing awareness to the glass ceiling and the bamboo ceiling. She volunteers with the Asians’ Connection and Women’s Connection groups at Wells Fargo to cultivate a supportive environment for women in finance.

Kelly has worked and volunteered in the San Francisco Bay Area since the age of 8. Recently she has focused more on public safety to empower the community and raise awareness to combat hate crimes.
